Red Stripe

She sat, toes in the warm sand. A light salty breeze blew through her loose hair. She smiled as she felt him sit next to her. He said nothing, just handed her a Red Stripe. They sat quietly, enjoying each others company, and a cold beer. This is exactly what they have been waiting for, this moment, this place, this… perfection.
She smiled over at him, she couldn’t love him any more or any less. She loved him exactly as he was, silly floral shirt and all. She watched his face as he watched the waves. She loved watching him. He felt her gaze, smiled back at her, gave her a gentle kiss and pulled her closer to him.
